Investment Advisory

As Registered Investment Advisor, registered with the Commonwealth of Virginia, initial discussions regarding ability to be engaged and a review of the Form ADV are the first steps required. Form ADV can be requested via email. Include your name, address, and phone number in this request and send it to info@mercantileadvisorsllc.com

After this has been completed and the results are mutually acceptable, then discussions modeled after the steps outlined in the engagement process commences.

Upon completion of this and the implementation phase commences, we will introduce an external FINRA licensed broker/dealer that will act as custodian of the client funds. The documents required to establish this relationship will be mutually created, along with our Investment Advisory agreements and limited power of attorney forms that enable us to manage and assess fees from the account/s at the broker dealer. Any activity taken by us on the account/s will be reported to the client by the broker/dealer, according to its own policies and procedures.

As a fiduciary working in the best interest of the client, we believe in the separation of management and custody of the funds. This structure provides mutual protections for all parties and with clear and accurate reporting, complete transparency.

This service is provided only by licensed professionals and any questions or comments relating to this part of our client offerings can be made via phone or sent via email to info@mercantileadvisorsllc.com.
